A new year, a new you?
We hope your holidays were fabulous and that you have begun the year with amazing goals and plans for self growth and business growth. So how about taking up a new hobby or doing something that’ll change your life? We have a number of great workshops coming to you from this month. All materials and refreshments are included and you’ll be learning from professionals with lots of experience. Here are some of them:
From the 13th January, 10am to 1pm, we start our Sewing Lessons for Men. So if you’re stuck with holes in your socks, have ripped your trousers and don’t know what to do, or you simply want to learn to make your own cushion covers and mend your own tears and holes, we will teach you just that and a lot more in 5 weekly sessions.
A Day of Batik: come and learn the art of batik from Dot Westley, experienced artist, on 24th January from 9am.
From the 29th January at 6:30pm, we offer weekly life drawing sessions for those at any level. so come and experiment at your leisure.
On the 14th February from 10am, come and join us for a Beaded Jewellery Making workshop with Linda Bishopp and make a set of jewellery from either brand new beads or some you want to recycle.
And if you are already a maker, crafter or artist and want to move business forward or grow, we are offering workshops which will help you do just that. Our previous workshops have been popular and well attended. Come and join us for a Business Planning Workshop on the 19th January from 10am to 3pm and leave with a plan of action and lots of great ideas to expand your business. And if you would like to know how to avoid paying taxes when you shouldn’t, let the professionals tell you what is and isn’t tax deductible when you are self employed or run your own business come to our ‘How to pay as little Tax as Starbucks‘ workshop on the 29th January from 10am.
