ArtiGras is a new festival coming to Ashford High Street – Kent – in May (16th and 17th May, Lower High Street). It will be delivered by the Centre for Creativity and Enterprise and an army of volunteers, creatives, artists and makers. The concept is somewhere between Mardi Gras and a street festival and will bring to town live music, arts and crafts stalls, street artists and performers, and a whole host of amazing and dazzling colourful displays.
To make this happen we need help! We’re looking for crocheters and knitters, makers, designers, volunteers to man the festival, local artists to display their work and, most importantly, Ashfordians and visitors to come and enjoy the event with us. So if you have any ideas you would like to discuss, if you are a voluntary organisation or an individual in Ashford and would like to contribute or you would like to help in any other way, do get in touch by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or join us on Facebook www.facebook.com/creativityenterprise or Twitter https://twitter.com/info_cce.
Let’s just hope that the weather Gods favour the event. We’ll have fun in any weather anyway so let’s get started …
